Hattie Bluestone, LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I’m a psychotherapist, yoga and meditation teacher, and mom with a longstanding interest in how emotional and relational patterns shape our lives. Originally from the East Coast and now based in California, my perspective has been shaped by both cultures—East Coast directness and intellectual depth alongside California’s attention to emotional awareness and embodiment.
My path into this work has grown out of both academic training and personal exploration. I studied at Harvard University and Antioch University Santa Barbara, and my therapy draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and psychodynamic approaches. I also bring nearly two decades of yoga and meditation practice into my work, which continues to inform how I think about the relationship between the body, emotion, and awareness.
In therapy, I value depth, openness, and collaboration. I’m continually moved by the courage it takes to understand ourselves more fully and to create new ways of relating. Outside the therapy room, I enjoy reading, baking, movement, and time with my family and community
